Bleecker opens the doors to its tenth London site at 45–46 Middle Yard, Camden Lock Place, right in the middle of Camden Lock Market on Thursday 27 August 2026, National Burger Day.
It’s Bleecker’s first site in North London, and Camden feels like a natural next stop. Independent, loud, full of character and shaped by decades of music, markets and people doing things their own way, Camden feels like the right home for Bleecker’s first North London site.
Zan Kaufman, founder and MD of Bleecker, says:
“I’m still feeling the same butterflies I felt at Old Spitalfields 11 years ago when we opened our first site. So much is the same, like our food and menu, but much has changed and developed, as we have brought new people into the team and worked towards our vision of an equal world where Bleecker is the best burger.
We are looking forward to welcoming our old customers and some new ones too to Camden.
As we started, and as we are now – Commitment to the Burger!”
Nicola Amis, Marketing Director of Camden Market, says:
“We are delighted that Bleecker is coming to the heart of London’s street food scene, Camden Market. We’re such big fans of the brand and see a long and delicious partnership ahead, where visitors can explore the market and taste Bleecker’s iconic burger.”
To mark the opening, Bleecker has created just 100 limited-edition Camden prints for the first 100 people through the door.
Designed in the style of a classic gig poster the artwork pays homage to the music history that runs through Camden. From Amy Winehouse and The Clash to Madness and The Libertines, the area has long been home to musicians, venues and record shops that helped shape London’s music scene.
Fourteen years after founder Zan Kaufman first took Bleecker onto the streets of London, the business remains fully independent, with no outside investors. Every new opening is self-funded, including Camden.
And the timing gets even better.
Opening day falls on National Burger Day, Thursday 27 August, so Bleecker is giving people two very good reasons to make a trip to Camden.
For one day only, the Minetta Tavern Burger joins the menu at all Bleecker sites, inspired by the legendary New York restaurant. It features 8oz of Bleecker beef topped with caramelised onions and cheddar cheese, finished with Bleecker house sauce in a seeded bun.
Bleecker is also offering 20% off all burgers across the menu at all sites throughout National Burger Day. People can sign up to receive the discount by heading here: https://www.bleecker.co.uk/national-burger-day/
